EUROCONTROL's INVENTAIR

ENVISA was mandated by EUROCONTROL to create a website dedicated to global aircraft emissions. The site will allow registered users to download and visualise worldwide emission grids based on WISDOM flight movement database.


ENVISA researches innovative technical and operational solutions to mitigate the annoyance related to transportation noise, and more specifically aviation noise. At the same time the company assesses noise impact in compliance with the latest European legislation on strategic noise mapping.

ENVISA expertise in the field includes:

  • scenario development and impact analyses
  • strategic noise mapping compliant with European Directive 2002/49/EC and its national transpositions
  • trade-off analyses between noise and emissions
  • model design and development
  • model validation with monitoring

STAPES

System For Airport Noise Exposure Studies – STAPES (2008-2009)

ENVISA is in charge of developing full traffic datasets at 26 European airports to be used in the new multi-airport noise model STAPES jointly developed by the European Commission, EUROCONTROL and EASA.
