EUROCONTROL's INVENTAIR
ENVISA was mandated by EUROCONTROL to create a website dedicated to global aircraft emissions. The site will allow registered users to download and visualise worldwide emission grids based on WISDOM flight movement database.
European GAES-INVENT Emission Inventory

Using the Advanced Emission Model (AEM), ENVISA performed an inventory of aircraft emissions over the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) area for 2002. Traffic and trajectory information was extracted from EUROCONTROL’s GAES-Move (now WISDOM) global flight movement database.
Following guidelines from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), aircraft emissions were assigned to each ECAC Member State using three different schemes. Emissions were successively allocated to:
- the country where the transporting company is registered
- the country of departure or destination of the aircraft (or shared by both)
- the country over which they were generated.
