ENVISA is currently looking for an intern to support the team in its environmental modelling activities.

Role
The intern will:

• participate in developing tools and databases (from writing the requirements to validation)
• assist the team in realising environmental impact studies
• draft documents and technical reports in English

In addition to these technical tasks the intern will have the opportunity to assist in developing new projects and will participate in responding to calls for proposals.

Profile desired
A student in the final year of an engineering school or the equivalent (Bac +4/+5) specialising in computer sciences, with following skills:

• MS Office
• Knowledge of one or more database tools: MS Access, SQL, Oracle, etc.
• Programming experience: C++, Java, Python or equivalent. Knowledge of the principles of programming multiprocessors is a plus.
• A good knowledge of English (reading, writing and spoken)

Curiosity, autonomy and good communication skills are required for this position as is motivation to work in an international environment. The successful candidate will need to show initiative and method in the tasks assigned.

Contract
The internship could lead to a permanent contract.

Dates
Flexible according to the needs of the student, with a minimum of 3-4 months.

Work Location
Paris, 11th arrondissement. Possibility of some travel abroad.

Compensation
To be discussed based on the candidate’s profile.
