ATM4E – What’s new?

Few months ago we were pleased to announce that Envisa was part of the ATM4E project, an exploratory research project within the SESAR 2020 programme, started in May 2016. Within a consortium of 6 participants, the project’s main objective is to explore the feasibility of a concept for environmental assessment of ATM operations working towards environmental optimisation of air traffic operations in the European airspace. Envisa attended the 54th Meeting of the ACI Europe Environmental Strategy Committee

As an “Airport Council International” (ACI) World Business Partner and Environmental Expert, Envisa is always pleased to participate in the ACI meeting of the Environmental Strategy Committee. For its 54th edition, it was held in Athens, on 27-28 of April 2017, and several professionals of the aviation sector attended the different workshops. Established in 1991, ACI is a global trade representative of the world’s airports that represents airports’ interests with governments and international organizations. Envisa is more than happy to participate in the next Passenger Terminal Expo, the world's leading international airport conference and exhibition that will take place on the 14th, 15th and 16th of March 2017 at RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Happy New Year 2017 from Envisa Team !

Envisa wish you a Green, Sustainable & Innovative Happy New Year 2017. 2016 was a successful year thanks to all the efforts deployed by our Team and Partners. Following is an overview of some of the more relevant projects achieved in 2016 by Envisa. Most notably, we completed the latest version of Open-ALAQS for Eurocontrol. The main objective is to provide a four-dimensional emissions inventory tool for an airport in which the emissions from the various fixed and mobile sources are aggregated and subsequently displayed for analysis. Envisa is participating in the European project ATM4E

Envisa is participating in the ATM4E project, an exploratory research project within the SESAR 2020 programme, started in May 2016. The project’s main objective is to explore the feasibility of a concept for environmental assessment of ATM operations working towards environmental optimisation of air traffic operations in the European airspace. The ATM4E Consortium is composed of 6 participants: one large research establishment (DLR), four universities (UREAD, MMU, TUHH, TUD) and one research company (ENVISA), constituting a well‐balanced consortium providing the expertise necessary for achieving the objective of the ATM4E project by completing the work plan.
